The “Khudozhestvenny” cinema was the venue of the “Award Ceremony” of “5th Samara International FICTS Festival” organised, in the framework of the “World FICTS Challenge” World Championship of Sport Cinema and Television, by the International Sport Movie Festival presided by Shamil Tarpishchev, IOC Member, President of the Russian Tennis Federation with the support of the Samara Oblast Government.

The winners of the Festival of Samara will be in competition to “Sport Movies & Tv” Worldwide Final of Cinema and Sport Television scheduled in Milano from 4 to 8 december.

The film “The Golden Nicole” of Helena Podromantsevoy received a “Special Prize” by the FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani .

  • “Special prize” of the festival was the film “Tumbler 2” directed by Anar Mammadov.
  • “The Best Documentary Film”: “The Princess and Muay Thai” directed by Oksana Karas, “Kremlin Cup” directed by Sergei Barabanova and “Interrupted Flight” directed by Karekin Kocharian and Eugene Bogatyreva.
  • “The Best Television Program”: “Valery Brumel” directed by Michael Degtyar, “Life of remarkable people” directed by Lilies Shafikova and “One day” directed by Alpha Ilyasova.
  • “Propaganda of sports”: “Russia in Rugby” directed by Vyacheslav Kurillova
  • “Overcoming”: “Born Twice” directed by Vilyury Isyandavletovoy, “Testament blind samurai” directed by Peter Neupokoeva and “Gold Nicole” directed by Helena Podromantsevoy
