“Sport Movies & Tv – 31st Milano International FICTS Fest” (www.sportmoviestv.com), scheduled in Milano (Italy) from 4 to 8 December, is the Final of 14 Festivals of the Worldwide Championship of Cinema and Sport Television “World FICTS Challenge”, carried out in the 5 Continents: Barcelona (Spain), Hanoi (Vietnam), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Guayaquil (Ecuador), Haifa (Israel), Doha (Qatar), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Matera (Italy), Samara (Russia), Kampala (Uganda), Beijing (China), Lipetsk (Russia), Liberec (Czech Rep.), Los Angeles (USA).


The event, live broadcast for 5 days on RAI Sport Television and on Class Tv, is organized by FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, joined with 113 Countries) recognized by IOC – International Olympic Committee. The Federation, with seat in Milano (Italy), is presided by Prof. Franco Ascani Member of IOC Commission for “Culture and Olympic Education”.

The event is articulated in 150 Projections, 7 Meeting, 2 Workshops, 4 Exhibitions, 4 Side Events, 2 Press Conferences, 30 Awards of international guests. Is expected the presence of 320 sports journalist and 250 sport television channels that – on 7th December – will take part to the “Tv Sport Emotions Award” to “The best Tv sport channel of the world” joined to “TV SPORT EMOTIONS” Programme promoted by FICTS as “Federation of Sports Television”.

“Sport Movies & Tv“ is a qualified international spot through media, networks, new media, houses of productions, producers, directors, Olympic Committees and sports Federations, sports champions, radio, advertising agencies that will show the whole universe of cinema and sport television through spot, reportages, fiction, cartoon, etc. in the 7 competitive Sections:  1. Olympic Spirit (Olympic Values); 2. Documentary (Individual sports; Team sports; Great Champions; Reportage); 3. TV Shows & New Technologies (Sports programs, Talk Shows, Entertaining; New Media); 4. Sport & Society (Sport & Solidarity; Sport for All, Education, Technique/didactics); 5. Movies (Fiction); 6. Sports Adverts (Social/Institutional advertising, Commercial advertising); 7. Movies & Tv Football.

The “Opening Ceremony”: Wednesday 4 December (6 p.m.) at “Palazzo Lombardia” (Piazza della Città della Lombardia – Milano) at the presence of highest institutional, civil and sport Authorities

The “Core business”: 5 – 6 – 7 – 8 December at “Palazzo Giureconsulti” (Piazza Mercanti, 2 – corner Piazza Duomo – Milano) with Projections, Meeting, Workshop and Exhibitions.

The “Award Ceremony”: Sunday 8 December (6 p.m.) at “Palazzo Lombardia” (Piazza della Città della Lombardia – Milano) with the delivery of the “Guirlande d’Honneur” to the winners of “Sport Movies & Tv”.
