Third day of “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2017 – 35TH MILAN INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST” (entrance by Invitation. Aaccreditation available at link https://www.sportmoviestv.net/en/registration-form/), Final of 16 Festivals (in the 5 Continents) of the “World FICTS Challenge” Worldwide Championship of Cinema, Television and Sport Culture, will be dedicated to young people. The event is organized by FICTS – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (chaired by Prof. Franco Ascani, Member of IOC Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission).
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 17 (at 3.00 pm) at Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan (Piazza Mercanti 2) there will be the awards “VIVERE DA SPORTIVI” by Monica Promontorio.
At 5.00 pm, presentation of “I TROFEI DI MILANO 2018 – Educazione cultura e sport per i giovani”, interschool athletics and training activities (3 million and 350.000 participants from 1964 to today).
Following (18.15pm), projection of “A PASSO D’ORO – FRANCO NONES LA LEGGENDA DI UN FONDISTA”, (Italy – Aurora Vision, 45 min.) at the presence of Franco Nones, the first Italian Olympic gold medalist in cross-country skiing and Filippo Tortu, gold runner to the Under 20s Europeans and silver at the 2016 World Championships in 100m.
Throughout the Festival you can visit the other exhibitions in the program: “Donne sportive in prima pagina”; “Olympic Images, Olympic Values” and “Poster Film Ufficiali Olimpici”; “Gli Eroi di Bonelli”; “3D Sport Emotions: lo sport come non l’avete mai visto”.
Among the 23 screenings of the day: “PERFECT” at 3.00 pm in Sala Donzelli, on the commitment to win a seat in the Games; “USTICA, THE DIAMONDS OF THE YEARS” (Baseball, Riccio Blu ITALY – 2017, 90 min) at 4.00 pm at Parlamento Sala, documentary about the success of baseball in Sicily; “IRON MOUNTAIN”, at 5.00 pm at Expo Hall, the story of a weight lifter and its recovery from an accident; “THE KING OF NAPLES” (Soccer, RAI Italian Radiotelevision, ITALY – 2017, 27 min), at 8.05 in Sala Donzelli, Five stories to tell Maradona and Naples.
