FICTS – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs President Prof. Franco Ascani met Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko in Kazan (Rep. of Tatarstan – Russia). Tatarstan Sport V. Minister Khalil Shaykhutdinov and “World” FICTS Final General Manger Diana Safarova took part to the meeting. Minister Mutko officially launched Russia candidadcy for 2016 as seat of the World Final of the 16 Festivals of “World FICTS Challenge” Wolrd Championship of Cinema and Television. The name of the city (four possible candidate cities for Russia) will be communicated by FICTS in the next days. During the meeting Prof. Ascani gave the first copy of “Manifesto of the Culture and image of Sports” to Minister Mutko who really appreciated the 30 points.

The four original Exhibitions (set at the Cinema Port 3D “Core Business” of “Kazan Worldwide Final of World FICTS Challenge 2015”) registered a great success of public showing that, through the power of sports and Olympic image and culture, you can launch a strong message to young people:
– “Olympic memorabilia”: 200 pieces including medals, pins, cards, pictures and various objects about Olympic history with moving Olympic images
– “Sport in China, in Beijing”: photos and images of sports culture of Beijing venue of the magnificent Olympic Games 2008 and Winter Olympic Games 2022.
– “Motor Sports and Cinema”: the most famous sports movies on motor sports posters – Ayrton Senna, Steve McQueen
– “Made in Italy”: pictures, images, objects about Italian fashion, sport, culture and art.
Kazan Arena Stadium big screen, the screen at the FINA Park and the Exhibition Space daily host the best Olympic images of all time with the aim of promoting the Olympic culture and its priceless values.
Sunday 9 August FINA Swimming World Championships 2015 and the “Kazan Worldwide Final of World FICTS Challenge 2015” ends at the same time in Kazan.
At the end of the, FICTS President Prof. Ascani, underlining the success of the event, said: “Russia is showing to have all the characteristics to host the great sports events. Cultural education is critical to Olympism, which has a moral strength and a great educational value, a universal message and a “Global Movement at the service of humanity”.
