Milano (Italy) will host, from 16 to 21 November 2016, SPORT MOVIES & TV 2016 – 34th MILANO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST” at the end of the “World FICTS Challenge” Worldwide Championship of Television, Cinema, Sport, Culture and Communication articulated in 18 Festivals around the 5 Continents through FICTS is Culture through sport slogan. The event is organized by FICTS – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (chaired by Prof. Franco Ascani Member of “IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Heritage” and recognized by the International Olympic Committee for which it promotes the values of sports through the images in the 114 Member Countries).

The 19 Festival of the “World FICTS Challenge” scheduled in 2016 are: Kathmandu (Nepal) 20 to 21 February, Los Angeles (USA) 14 to 17 April, Barcelona (Spain) 3 to 7 May, Kazan (Rep. Of Tatarstan – Russia) 12 to 16 May, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil – Cinefoot) 19 to 24 May, Tehran (I.R. Iran) May 29 – June 1, Hanoi (Vietnam) 20 to 23 June, Buenos Aires (Argentina) 14 to 17 July, Kampala (Uganda) 20 to 22 July, Beijing (China) 9 to 15 August, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil – FICTS for Rio 2016) 27 July to 25 September, Samara (Russia) 6 to 10 September, Spoleto (Italy) 10 – 18 September, Tashkent (Uzbekistan) 18 to 21 September, Lipetsk (Russia) 27 to 30 September, Sophia Antipolis (Nice – France) 14 to 16 October, Liberec (Czech Rep.) 2 to 4 October, Brussels (Belgium) 3 – 6 October.

“SPORT MOVIES & TV”, six days of Tv, Cinema and Sport Culture, will be a privileged place of meeting for Networks (among which 1.188 Television Sports Channels around the globe), authors, media, broadcastings, worldwide houses of productions, majors, producers, directors, filmmakers, Olympic Committees and Sports Federations, advertising and integrated communication agencies, that will show the whole universe of cinema and sport television through spot, reportages, fiction, cartoon, etc. in the 7 competitive Sections: 

1. Olympic Spirit (Olympic Values);

2. Documentary (Individual sports; Team sports; Great Champions; Reportage);

3. TV Shows & New Technologies (Sports programs, Talk Shows, Entertaining; New Media);

4. Sport & Society (Sport & Solidarity; Sport for All, Education, Technique/didactics);

5. Movies (Fiction);

6. Sports Adverts (Social/Institutional advertising, Commercial advertising);

7. Movies & Tv Football.

The Festival, characterized by international participation (journalists, operators and industry experts, sports champions), is articulated into Projections (150 Selected productions among which worldwide and European premiere), Meetings, Workshops, Exhibitions, Press Conferences, Side Events, Awards of international guests .
