The Auditorium Testori of the Palazzo Lombardia hosted the “Award Ceremony” of “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2017 – 35th MILAN INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST” (www.sportmoviestv.com). The Ceremony was opened by the exhibition of Fanfara Terzo Battaglione Carabinieri Lombardia, by the IOC President Thomas Bach video message and by the greeting of Prof. Franco Ascani President of FICTS and by the Regional Councilor for Sport and Youth Policies of the Regione Lombardia Antonio Rossi.

Prestigious guests from the sports, film and television worlds have taken part in the concluding night of “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2017”. They have been awarded with “Guirlande d’Honneur“, the highest honor of the FICTS, considered the “TV and Sports Cinema Oscar”: Dr. Massimo Moratti, Entrepreneur and Sports Manager, Dr. Marco Fassone, CEO of AC Milan, Dr. Francesco Ricci Bitti, ASOIF Chairman, Dr. Lionello Cerri, CEO Anteo Spazio Cinema, Emanuela Audisio, journalist and writer.

A wide participation at national and international level, a success of critics and audiences, in the presence of sports champions, Institutions and Sports Authorities, international producers and directors, have characterized the 35th edition of “Sport Movies & Tv” awarded the “Medaglia del Presidente della Repubblica” by the President of the Italian Republic On. Sergio Mattarella.

Six days of cinema, sports, television and culture: 140 selected projections from 63 nations, 25 world and European previews and 30 hours of exclusive Olympic images, 55 sports disciplines, 900 large screen champions, 200 filmmakers and producers, 210 accredited journalists, 102 Broadcasters involved, 6 Exhibitions, 8 Meetings, 2 Workshops, 2 Press Conferences, 10 Collateral Events distributed in 10 City Offices with the collaboration of Sergio Bonelli Editore. 85 Production Houses and 64 Network Televisions have produced the 2017 edition through documentaries, reportage, TV commercials, fiction, cartoons, and so on. for a total of 102 hours divided into 10 sections.
