THE OLYMPIC TORCH RELAY LIGHTS THE FICTS FESTIVAL

On Sunday September 29^th, on the occasion of the lighting of Olympic flame that will kick off the torch relay that will come up to the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games (February 7 – 23), the FICTS has activated a circuit at the same time among the 14 seats Festival of the “World FICTS Challenge” through several projections on the Olympic values​​, particularly for young people.

The route of the Olympic torch relay will exceed 65,000 kilometers and will reach about 2,900 locations with the participation of 14,000 torchbearers (Greek Alpine skier Ioannis Antoniou has been named as the first torchbearer of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Torch Relay), chosen for their civil commitment by the Organizing Committee. It will be the longest relay of the Olympic torch, designed to withstand weather conditions ranging from -40 to +40 degrees Celsius, a material used for the production of ballistic missiles for submarines and parts of space rockets.
