FICTS – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs in collaboration with FICTS Italia A.s.d. takes the field with young people with the “Trofei di Milano 2017 – Education, Culture and Sport for Young People” interscholastic championships aimed to increase of intellectual skills of youth scheduled at the Arena Brera in Milan (free submissions). The “Trofei di Milano 2017”, which are articulated this year in 5 Areas (Sport, Culture, Education, Food and Health), unique event for feedback and approval in the panorama of “Sport in the School” as well in “Sport for All” to which have been attended 45.000 students, has recorded the participation of 3 million three hundred thousand students from 1964 till today through an initiative totally devoid of any profit. The event will be end on May 12th at the conclusion of the activities in the Schools (period September 2016 – April 2017) and the “Week of Sport for All” with “MAXIMARCIA OF SCHOOL” (departure at 9 a.m.), opened to all ages citizens, in Parco Sempione around 2 km away in free walk, with free entrance and free submissions to which, in addition to students of secondary and primary public and private schools of Milano, will join – in a spirit of real integration – 20 organizations from as much countries. The performances of the Band of the Air Force Command, of the Fanfara dei Carabinieri as well as the launch of 5.000 colored balloons will open the event. Mr Oreste Perri four gold medals at the Canoe World Championships as well as current Regional NOC of Lombardia will turn the tripod with the torch that will pass from 7 important torchbearers.

The Organizing Committee, chaired by FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani, Member of IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Heritage will assign the “Giuseppe Rovelli Award – 96 years of Sport”, assigned “in memory” of “Master” who initiated thousands of young people to the wonderful world of sport and its values. The initiative, organized by FICTS Italia a.s.d., the AICS under the patronage of the Regional School for Lombardy, the Lombardy Region, the Metropolitan City of Milan, Milan City Council, Italian NOC, FIDAL and the support of the “Centrale del Latte di Milano”, aimed to the increase in the intellectual capacity of young people covering, such as human growth factor, a role in the formation of character and education of the individual: environmental sustainability, development of creativity, acquisition of social experiences and relational.

The winners of the track and field championship will be awarded during “Sport Movies & Tv 2017 – 35th Milano International FICTS Fest” Final of 16 Festivals (in the 5 Continents) of the “World FICTS Challenge” Worldwide Championship of Cinema, Television and Sport Culture scheduled in Milano (Italy) from 15th to 20th November (www.sportmoviestv.com).

“Trofei di Milano” are inserted in the Project “One week, All sports” of UESpT – Union Europeenne du Sport pour Tous, which will end in the city of Athens with the “Marathon for All” organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Education of Greece.
