WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15th: opening day of the “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2017 – 35TH MILANO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST”, Final of 16 Festivals (in the 5 Continents) of the “World FICTS Challenge” Worldwide Championship of Cinema, Television and Sport Culture, organized by FICTS Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (chaired by Prof. Franco Ascani, Member of IOC Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission).

The appointment is at 5.45 pm in front of Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan (Piazza Mercanti 2, Piazza Duomo) with entertainment, guest presentations and videos.

20 Olympic and World Women Champions of all time, including Manuela Di Centa, Deborah Compagnoni, Fiona May, Lea Pericoli, Alina Kabaeva, Stefania Bianchini and Giulia Quintavalle will be the “Honor Guests” at the “Inauguration Ceremony” including Paulo Roberto Falcao (ex-AS Roma player), the Greek visual arts artist Mina Papatheodorou-Valyraki “IOC Sports Artist of the Year 2014”, the designer Rosita Missoni and the CMAS President Anna Arzhanova.

At 6.20 pm (within the Palace, access only with accreditation) will be inaugurated 4 Exhibitions:
– “Donne sportive in prima pagina”, covers of La Gazzetta dello Sport and original basketball movie poster with female protagonists,
– “Olympic Images, Olympic Values” e “Poster Film Ufficiali Olimpici”, memorabilia and videos, Olympic CIO exclusive images,
– “Gli Eroi di Bonelli”, the most famous characters of comics by Sergio Bonelli Editore,
– “3D Sport Emotions: lo sport come non l’avete mai visto”, three-dimensional sports images.

Every day, from 3 pm to 10.30 pm, scheduled (free accreditation at http://www.sportmoviestv.net/accredito/): 140 Sports themed projections (Movies, Documentaries, Fiction etc.) selected among 63 nations ( 25 World and European Previews, including the Official Film of Olympic Games Rio 2016 , 5 Projection Rooms at the same time), 4 Exhibitions, 8 Meetings, 2 Press Conferences, 23 International Guest Awards, 10 Collateral Events distributed in 10 Headquarters of the city.
