FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, joined with 113 Member Countries) recognized by IOC – International Olympic Committee, in fact, will organize in Kazan (Russia) – from 5 to 10 August – the “Worldwide Final of World FICTS Challenge 2015” in conjunction with World Swimming Championships that the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan will host after the Universiade 2013. “Kazan Worldwide Final Of World FICTS Challenge 2015” will be articulated – in addition to imposing Opening and Closing Ceremonies – in Projections, Meetings, Exhibitions, Side Events, Workshops, the International Forum “Tv Sport Emotions” and Awards of prestigious international guests of television, sports and cinema. The event will involved world networks, production companies, sports champions, industry experts.

Worldwide Final of World FICTS Challenge 2015” will be a privileged place of meeting for authors, media, broadcastings, worldwide Networks, houses of productions, majors, producers, directors, filmmakers, Olympic Committees and Sports Federations, advertising and integrated communication agencies, that will show the whole universe of cinema and sport television through spot, reportages, fiction, cartoon, etc. in the 7 competitive Sections:  1. Olympic Spirit (Olympic Values); 2. Documentary (Individual sports; Team sports; Great Champions; Reportage); 3. TV Shows & New Technologies (Sports programs, Talk Shows, Entertaining; New Media); 4. Sport & Society (Sport & Solidarity; Sport for All, Education, Technique/didactics); 5. Movies (Fiction); 6. Sports Adverts (Social/Institutional advertising, Commercial advertising); 7. Movies & Tv Football. The Festival, characterized by international participation (journalists, operators and industry experts, sports champions) that determines a strong media, tourism and economic impact in the region, is articulated into Projections, Meetings, Workshops, Exhibitions, Press Conferences, Side Events, Awards of international guests.

The Phases of the 14 Festival “World FICTS Challenge” will take place in: Katmandu (Nepal), Barcelona (Spain), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Beijing (China), Samara (Russia), Bergamo (Italy), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Lipetsk (Russia), Kampala (Uganda), Hanoi (Vietnam), Liberec (Czech Rep.), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Brussels (Belgium), Los Angeles (USA).

The first Festival of the “World FICTS Challenge” will be the “Nepal International Sports Film Festival

scheduled in Katmandu on 6-7 February. One of the principal objectives of Nepal Sports-Film Festival 2015 is to bring the general public into contact with sports-orientated audiovisual content and the values that they represent. Whilst offering the media, film directors, producers and specialized distributors a meeting place in which they can exchange views and information. The “Nepal Sports Film Festival” Jury will comprise popular personalities drawn from the worlds of sport, cinema, audiovisual production and culture. Films selected to compete will form part of the documentary and video-graphical material of the Library of the Nepal Sports Foundation where public exhibition will be strictly limited to educational activities and as a means to increase public awareness of the Festival and sports.
