Great public success for the “Beijing International FICTS Festival” (inaugurated last August 10 by the President of FICTS Prof. Franco Ascani) which ended today. Organized in Beijing (China) within the World FICTS Challenge (the World Cinema and Television Championship), by FICTS – Fédération Internationale Cinema Télévision Sportifs in collaboration with BODA – Beijing Olympic Development Association.
The main theme was “Winter Olympic Dream with sports emotions” to further promote Beijing’s forthcoming Winter Olympic Games 2022. The best works chosen by the Jury will take part in “Sport Movies & Tv 2017” scheduled in Milan (Italy) November 20th.
In the framework of the Chinese Festival, last August 11th the “Olympic Film Forum” was held, with its speaker the FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani (Member of the IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Education), with the report “Olympic Film Screening Projected in the Future”: all the Olympic filmography divided by periods, in an unprecedented synoptic framework.
