The students of Master in “Sport Management, Marketing and Society” of the Department of Sociology and Social Research of University of Milano-Bicocca will be – on February 16th – guests at the IOC headquarters in Lausanne (Switzerland), for a study day organized by Prof. Franco B. Ascani, Member of the IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Heritage in order to launch a joint research about the topic “Culture, Sports, Society and Olympism”. The Master with a suitable slant to the present needs of the sports market, gives 66 course credits and gives a qualification to create new professionalism and to become manager in the “sport system” deepening the knowledge and the critic analysis of the strategies for the sports business and the related managing, social and economical aspects. The students will visit the video library of Olympic Studies Centre led by Alex Renault, Visits Coordinator dell’Olympic Studies Centre and a lesson of Nicolas Relin, IOC Project Manager for Corporate Development, Brand and Sustainability.
