Orphans will be taken special care during the “SPORT E-MOTIONS Kazan International FICTS Festival” phase of the “World FICTS Challenge 2016” Worldwide Championship of Television, Cinema, Communication, New Media and Sports Culture.
On May 12 – 15, 2016 Kazan will host the “World FICTS Challenge 2016” Stage which will be distinguished by a unique social program. Alongside projections and master-classes for cinematographers, directors and journalists there is foreseen a social program, which will allow socially unprotected young people to be a part of the celebrations.

“It goes without saying, that it is very important for us to bring young people in the cinema, where they will learn basic human and sport values, which will enable them with the unique experience – says Dr. Olga Pavlova, one of the Organising Committee members of the FICTS World Final 2015 and of the “World FICTS Challenge 2016” Stage, Deputy of the Tatarstan State Council. This is two times as more important for us to help develop for the ones with no parents. We appreciate every opportunity to assist them somehow and make their life more interesting and pleasant. And we strongly believe, that sport cinema in the best spirit of Fair Play is a power instrument in the process of social rehabilitation”.
According to Dr. Pavlova, charity traditions have good traditions and strong roots in Kazan. For instance, in December 2015, together with her good friends, Olga Pavlova organized a New Year celebration for the residents of the Kazan Ronald McDonald House and in January, 2016, another New Year festival for over 600 orphans asylums of Tatarstan. Earlier, in July 2015, they provided free tickets for the FINA World Championships events and in August 2015 – countermarks for the 33rd FICTS Worldwide Final sessions.
Their most recent achievement dates back to the February, 2016, when they presented is the unique opportunity for the “Zabota” and “Gavrosh” orphans asylum residents to visit European Badminton Championships and afterwards receive badminton rackets.
