FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, joined with 116 Countries) recognized by IOC (International Olympic Committee) organizes “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2018 – 36th MILANO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FEST” (www.sportmoviestv.com), from 14th to 19th November 2018 in Milano (Italy), with the aim of spreading the values and the messages of sport using the universal language of the sports image. The International event for Cinema, Television and sports Communication, is a Phase of the “World FICTS Challenge”, Circuit of 16 Festivals promoted and organised by FICTS in 5 Continents: Barcelona (Spain), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Beijing (China), Pokhara (Nepal), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Rotterdam (Holland) Lipetsk (Russia), Kampala (Uganda), Liberec (Czech Republic), Cote d’Azur (France), Zlatibor (Serbia), Tehran (I.R. Iran), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Kingston (Jamaica), Buenos Aires (Argentina).

All the works admitted to the Festival will appear on the program of the event and will be shown with a schedule, inserted in the Festival Official Catalogue (Catalogue Section) while the Trailers will be edit on the website in the Section “Trailer” (Trailer Section).
The event, a privileged place of meeting for authors, media, television broadcastings, operating, important world-wide Networks, radio, houses of production, major, producers, directors, filmmakers, Olympic Committees and Sports Federations, advertising and integrated communication agencies, is an important “international showcase” for the productions that will compete for the assignment of the “Guirlande d’Honneur” the “Oscar of Sports Cinema and Television”, of the “Mention d’Honneur” and of the “Special Prize” which will be assigned for each Section by an International Jury.
Specific logistical facilitations are expected for the guests who submit their works.
A real worldwide event of the field that includes 140 Projections, 8 Meetings, 4 Exhibitions, 30 Awards, 4 Side Events with prestigious guests and high media interest (200 qualified journalists) with 50.000 audience with free entrance and by invitation. It is expected the presence of 200 Sports Television Channels which will participate to the delivery of the “Tv Sport Emotions Award” (See the section Media – Tv Sport Emotions on the website) to “The best of world tv sport channel” in the within of the “TV SPORT EMOTIONS” Program. In the past editions, the prestigious prize was given to Eurosport (France), CCTV Cinema (China Central Television, National Chinese Television), Sky Sport, Channel One (Russia), Channel Four (Ireland) and Match Tv (Russia).
