Sophia Antipolis (France), a technology park northwest of Antibes and southwest of Nice in French Riviera, the highest delegates of prestigious sports and Institutional Organizations, has been the venues of “Sophia Antipolis SPORTS E-MOTIONS 2016 – International FICTS Festival”.

Great success of audience and critic for the event inserted in the “World FICTS Challenge 2016 (WFC)” Worldwide Championship of Cinema and Sport Television and organized by Sophia Antipolis FIFS Association composed by Dr Frederic Jouve (President of basketball club Sharks of Antibes), Dr Renato Ferrari Tullio (FICTS representative in France), Dr Etienne Delhaye (Director of Club des Entreprises of Sophia Antipolis) in collaboration with FICTS, with the CDOS 06 – Olympic Committee and Sports Departmental of Maritime Alps chaired by Dr Philippe Manassero  as well as by the CROS – Comité Régional Olympique & Sportif Cote d’Azur chaired by Dr  Ivan Coste Maniere.

The “Opening Ceremony” held at “Cinéma du pré des Arts” in Valbonne has been opened by the President of FICTS – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs Prof. Franco Ascani who received the Volume “Cinema & Sport” (in the photo) of Julien e Gerard Camy (editions by Du Balli De Suffren).

The Provençal Golf Sophia Antipolis has been the location of the meeting “Sports & Health” organized in collaboration with Comité Départemental Olympique & Sportif where attended Herve Dubuisson former basketball player and coach of French National team, the man of all records considered one of the best players in the history of basketball in France.

The Meeting “Sport Events & Economic Development” in collaboration with Comité Régional Olympique & Sportif Cote d’Azur held in Skema Business School Sophia Antipolis at the presence of several personalities of French sport as well as students of Master.

The “Mouratoglou Tennis Academy” (seat of tennis Academy of Patrick Moratuglu coach of Serena Williams) in Beachcomber French Riviera has hosted the “Award Ceremony”. The winners of the Festival will participate to “Sport Movies & Tv 2016 – 34th Milano International FICTS Fest”, the Final scheduled in Milan (Italy) from November 16th to 21st, have been:

  • KAYABYKE” directed by Mattia Trabucchi awarded with Jury’s Special Prize
  • CLIP ULTRA TRAIL NICE”, produced by “Azur Sport” (represented by President Pascal Thiriot) received the Best Short Movies Award.
  • SEBASTIEN LOEB – HORS PISTES” directed by Damien Piscarel has been awrded as Best Documentary.
