THE OLYMPIC GAMES AT “EXSPORT MOVIES & TV 2015”: MILANO, 23 OCTOBER – NOVEMBER 1

The Olympic Games at “EXSPORT MOVIES & TV 2015”, the Worldwide Festival of Sports Cinema and Television scheduled in Milan (Italy) from 27^th October to 1^st November 2015.

A section called “Olympic Games – Olympic Spirit” will present a series of works (which won one of the 16 Festivals of the “World FICTS Challenge” Circuit, all present with their Directors), selected between the 113 Member Countries joined to FICTS (Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs) which organises the event directed by FICTS President Prof. Franco Ascani.

Two halls of the eighteenth-century “Palazzo Cusani” in Via Brera, 15 – Milan (location is situated in front of the Art Gallery which includes the National Library Braidense, the Academy of Fine Arts), will host only films with Olympic theme and, in collaboration with the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage and the most meaningful images of the Olympic Games of all time.

Moreover, it will be realized a Photo Exhibition “Cinema and Olympic Games” and it was made an interactive station called “Win your Olympic Medal” which will make the audience live the thrill of podium.

On 30 October, “Young & Sport” Day, at the end of the meeting “Olympic Games and School”, it will be projected “One world, One dream”, with the message to spread all around the world by Dr. Jacques Rogge’s word, former President of the International Olympic Committee and it will be presented a program of specific activities for the Schools including projections of the images with an Olympic theme and debates inside elementary and middle schools with the aim of spreading the Olympic values among the young people.

On October 31^st, it is planned “Spirit in motion”, the official movie of Paralympic Games of Sochi 2014, while on October, 23^rd, on occasion of the Press Conference of the event, it will be presented, in preview, a syntheses of the images of the Sochi Olympic Games.

During the event it will be projected also 145 videos of 55 sports disciplines: a chance to spread the educative and formative Values of the Olympic and Paralympic Movement through images, involving youth and all the worldwide population.
